Meet Our Dogs
Henry
Henry our male Rough Collie, came to us from Holston Mountain Collies to be a beloved family dog. Through raising him, I discovered a deep passion for dog training. Like many owners, I faced the typical challenges of raising a young dog—but instead of getting discouraged, I used those moments to expand my knowledge and refine my training skills.
Today, Henry occasionally assists in training other dogs. We’ve intentionally chosen not to make him fully neutral toward other dogs so that he can serve as a valuable teaching companion—helping other dogs learn appropriate behavior and supporting our ability to apply effective training strategies.

Personality Description: Outgoing, Fun-loving, goofy cuddle-bug with a serious interest in treats and adventures. Loves people, but seriously loyal to 'his' people.
​
Likes: Training, Hikes, Cuddles, Playing with his other dogs, and "Trick-or-Treating" for dog treats at his favorite stores in Downtown Mebane.

Macy
Macy, our female Smooth Collie, also came to us from Holston Mountain Collies. She is also a beloved family pet, but is also being raised to be Henry's sidekick in helping to train other dogs!
​
Macy has given us the opportunity to have an 24x7 refresher in raising a puppy, as we are currently living through this experience. Raising her is a delight and also allows us to implement training tactics in a way that differs from how we raised Henry.
Personality: Intensely sweet and adorable, coupled with all of the shenanigans of being a puppy! An unmatched happiness when meeting new people and dogs. Has a streak of 'Diva' in her. We will see how that trait develops as she grows!

Likes: Sticks (the bigger, the better), playing, wrestling with her big brother, cuddles, voicing her frustration when she does not get her way, chasing the flirt pole, adventures.
